Parklawn Community

Parklawn Community is bordered by Lincolnia Road, Braddock Road, Columbia Pike and Holmes Run Park. Our nearly 700 houses provide homes for neighbors of diverse cultures and age groups. With meandering sidewalks, an inclusive Civic Association and an active Neighborhood Watch program, our neighbors enjoy a unity and familiarity that is often missing in modern communities. May 7 7:30 pm	General Membership Meeting - Join us on Tuesday, May 7, at 7:30, at Peace Lutheran Church (6362 Lincolnia Road, Alexandria, VA 22312) for our General Membership Meeting. We will have mixing, and mingling - and sweets of course! Learn what PCA volunteers have been doing to improve our community. Meet other neighbors. Learn about our Neighborhood Watch Program. May 11 8 am - 1 pm	Peace Lutheran Church and the Parklawn Civic Association (PCA) will host a yard sale on May 11, 8 am-1 pm at the church (6362 Lincolnia Rd., Alexandria VA 22312) to benefit of Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA) Safe Cribs = Safe Babies project. This sale is open to all vendors. PCA families will also host garage sales at their homes throughout the neighborhood. Our Craigslist listing to include PCA houses and the church yard sales will be updated daily. The PCA will post signs in the neighborhood to direct to the home yard sales. If you want to have a yardsale that day at your home for which PCA will post directions and update the Craigslist ad, please contact Dave Galway at 703-395-2172. The charge is $10 payable to the PCA.
June 8 8:30 am	Queen of Apostles 5K Run - On Saturday, June 8, Queen of Apostles School will host a 5K run through the Parklawn Community.
